Pistol at the East Coast Steel Challenge

Eight cadets from the Pistol Team traveled to New Tripoli, PA to compete in the East Coast Steel Challenge. Overall, Team Captain Austin Myers '20 finished 6th, Keegan Buros '20 was 11th, Ethan Wilson '22 was 13th, and Taylor Schorlemmer '22 was 15th. Steel Challenge is a speed event where shooters must engage five steel targets arranged in a variety of scenarios of different size targets at different distances and angles. The targets in each scenario are engaged five times by each competitor with the slowest time being dropped. The cadets shoot a civilian version of the Army's new service pistol - the M17.
