CDT Cornett ’24 Presents at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

CDT Cornett ’24 Presents at the National Geospatial-Intelligence AgencyCadet Katie Cornett ’24, Dr. Matt O’Banion, and COL William Wright attended meetings with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in St. Louis, MO, and the GEOINT Symposium. CDT Katie Cornett, a GIS major and Space Science minor, presented her project in the student poster competition as one of the top 16 finalists. Her work looks at how geospatially modeling helicopter landing zones varies when the input spatial resolution of the data ranges from 1-30 meters. COL Wright sat on a panel titled “Preparing GEOINT Leaders for Dynamic Force Employment: From Adaptive Basic Models to Dynamic and Unpredictable Environments.”
