GENE and GIS Cadets Learn About Hydrographic Surveying Methods

Representatives from Keystone Precision Solutions demonstrated hydrographic surveying methods at Lusk Reservoir last week for GENE and GIS Cadets enrolled in EV380, Principles of Surveying. The team collected 3D terrestrial laser scans for portions of the shore using the tripod mounted instrument while the HyDrone R/C catamaran was used to measure echo soundings of depth throughout the reservoir.

Cadets Visit 9/11 Memorial & Museum

On Oct 28, CTC faculty and cadets minoring in Terrorism Studies traveled to NYC to learn about the tragedies of 9/11 and the current threat landscape. The group visited the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, where they gained an appreciation for the profound impact of that fateful day. Following the visit, cadets met with several officials from the New York Police Department (NYPD) Intelligence Bureau who sp
