On Nov 1, over two dozen cadets in the CTC’s Homeland Security course traveled to FDNY HQ in Brooklyn to participate in a crisis management exercise designed & led by the FDNY. The focus of this functional exercise was a simulated cyber-attack impacting Manhattan, for which cadets—as part of an Incident Management Team—were tasked with developing a successful response. This exercise, held each semester for cadets in SS464: Homeland Security & Defense, underscores the important & enduring partnership between FDNY & West Point.
