Cadets Travel to DC

Cadets studying Russian history, along with other history majors travelled to DC to learn more about the Cold War. Before stepping inside The International Spy Museum, Cadets had the opportunity to see the top collection of East German Trabant cars on display during a special exhibition hosted by the Spy Museum. The Trabant was manufactured in East Germany from 1957 until 1991 and remains an iconic symbol of the Cold War in Germany.

College Park Rededicates Monument to Fallen Vietnam War Hero MAJ Joseph A. Bishop '57

A memorial ceremony to re-dedicate a monument honoring a College Park hometown hero killed in Vietnam, MAJ Joseph A. Bishop '57, was held on Oct 25 at College Park City Hall. Originally located in 1997 at Woodward Academy (formerly Georgia Military Academy) where he attended prep school, the monument to his memory will now rest on the front lawn of City Hall.
