
West Point’s Ethics Debate Team Wins the Northeast Regional Ethics Bowl

West Point’s Ethics Debate Team won the Northeast Regional Ethics Bowl. They maintain the record for most national championship wins for any ethics debate team in the United States. At the tournament, the team debated complex real-world ethical challenges in the fields of medicine, science, business, law, the military, and politics. The team includes CDTs Charles Batkin '24 (cadet-in-charge), Aaron Calhoun '24, Thomas Demarsico '24, Jacob Foster '23, Megan Nkamwa '24, James Peterson '25, Jacqueline Reagan '25, and Calvin Schilling '26. Their officers-in-charge are Dr. Graham Parsons, MAJ Roberto Santos, and MAJ Jon Thompson. They now prepare for the 2023 National Ethics Bowl this coming March.
