Eight West Point Cadets Named Draper Scholars

Eight West Point Cadets were named 2023 Draper Scholars. The scholars are:
- Jacob Frederick, M.S. in Data Science, Harvard University
- Emmett Lepp, M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Tufts University
- Jacob Huckelberry, M.S. in Data Science, Harvard University
- Dominic Rudakevych, M.S. in Applied Math, University of Colorado Boulder
- Elijah Dabkowski, M.S. in Data Science, Harvard University
- Mitchell Miller, M.S. in Data Science, Harvard University
- Gregg Puttkammer, M.S in Statistics, Purdue University (Not pictured)
- Edward Tang, M.S. in Data Science, Harvard University (Not pictured)
These scholars will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow scholars and technical staff to solve real-world problems, develop technologies in world-class laboratories, and publish in top-tier journals and conference presentations.
When asked about earning this scholarship, CDT Puttkamer explains, “I am excited to pursue a degree and conduct research in a field that applies to my career path and also to the defense of the United States.”
