MG Brett G. Sylvia ’94 Named Commanding General for the 101st Airborne Division

The U.S. Department of Defense announced the next commanding general for the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, MG Brett Sylvia ’94.

The chief of staff for the Army said that Sylvia would be the 51st person to lead the Screaming Eagles. The 50-year-old leader has served as the vice director for the Joint Staff’s strategy, plans, and policy since July 2021.
