Firstie Madison Hovren had a great night for the Black Knights with 30 points and 22 rebounds to lead Army to a 62-40 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday night at Christl Arena.
Hovren tied her career high with 22 rebounds. She set the record against Colgate when she was a yearling. The 30 points were a season high and she was 12-of-17 from the floor. Libby Tacka was the only other Black Knight in double figures with 10 points and she added seven rebounds. Jess Lewis had a tough shooting night but dished out game-high eight assists.
Fairleigh Dickinson shot 26 percent from the field and went 3-of-18 from distance in the loss. Peniel M'Bikata led the Knights with 13 points and five rebounds. Read More
