The Army West Point rifle team got back in the win column on Saturday, shooting a program record in a win over Akron at the Palmyra Invitational. "We had a pretty good day today," head coach Web Wright said. "We set a program record with a 4668. Payne led the way with both gun and everyone else was pretty close behind." Firstie co-captain Payne Nunn led the way with an aggregate scoreboard of 1172. "They were good scores. No one shot remarkably well, but we had a lot of depth," Wright said.
