COL Gronewold ’96 Appointed Adjutant General of Oregon National Guard

Governor Tina Kotek announced that COL Alan R. Gronewold ARNG ’96 has been appointed as the Adjutant General (TAG) of the Oregon National Guard.

Gronewold is a proven senior executive and decorated combat veteran, with 27 years in service with deployments to Kuwait, Germany, Afghanistan, and Iraq. He holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the U.S. Military Academy in West Point and a master’s degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College.
