The Patriot League has announced that five members of the Army West Point track and field program have received league academic honors for the indoor track and field season. Lynne Mooradian received the league's highest academic honor, as she was named Patriot League Women's Indoor Track and Field Scholar Athlete of the Year. This marks the second consecutive season that Mooradian earned the honor, as she was named the league's Scholar Athlete of the Year following the 2018 outdoor track and field season. "Lynne continues to shine on the track, in the field events and in the classroom," head coach Mike Smith said. "She is one of our leaders both by her example and in her role as team captain." The junior mechanical engineering major carries a 4.21 cumulative grade point average and has won several academy, league and national academic awards during her time at West Point. Mooradian also earned her third academic all-League selection.
