Equestrian at the IHSA Regional Championship

Equestrian at the IHSA Regional ChampionshipThe Army Equestrian Team represented West Point admirably at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association's Regional Championship. The top qualifiers from nine highly competitive teams in the Northeast region came together at Centenary University Equestrian Center in Long Valley, NJ to test their equitation skills. Matilda Brady '19 competed in Intermediate flat, earning an impressive top four finish and an invitation to compete in the regional Battle in the Saddle competition. Karissa Stubblefield '22 rode to a top five finish in the walk-trot-canter final, and Amanda Roper '19 achieved a top nine finish in the walk-trot-canter final. Additionally, Victoria Kearns '22 placed fourth in her walk-trot class, which also earns her an invitation to Battle in the Saddle, and Suzanna Del Rio '21 earned a top six finish in the regional walk-trot finals. The all demonstrated incredible dedication to and mastery of their respective skills.
