Track & Field Fights Through Weather At ECAC/IC4As

Battling through tough weather conditions, the Army West Point Track and Field Team had an impressive showing at the second day of the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Sunday. Yearling Kedrin Jefferson fought through the wind and rain to take home the 200 meter dash. Cow Calli McMullen placed second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.94.

Head Coach Mike Smith said: "We brought a skeleton crew to this meet because of final exams. The ones we took did a nice job of competing and performed well in less than ideal circumstances. The weather today was about as bad as you could expect, and we got what we could from it. Kedrin and Calli were the obvious highlights for us. The marks were not what they wanted, but there was really no way they could have run very fast in the conditions out there. So they made the best of it. Read more.
