Cadets Visit Restorative Neurological Clinic at the Burke NeurologicalCadets Elizabeth Huuki '20, Channah Mills '20, Alanna Appel '20, and Sydney Alekseyev '21 visited the Restorative Neurological Clinic at the Burke Neurological Institute in White Plains, NY, which is an affiliate of Weill Cornell Medicine. Together with Cadets Mathew McDonough '20 and Richard Delzell '20, and under the combined mentorship of Drs. J. Kenneth Wickiser and John W. Cave, cadets assisted the RNC this semester in processing and analyzing clinical evaluations and quality-of-life surveys to track the progress of subjects over 6-week therapy sessions to determine the impact of robotic-assisted upper limb extremity training. This visit provided an opportunity for Cadets to observe how robotic-assisted therapies are conducted and experience several of the robotic devices for themselves.
