Following five Patriot League men's championship victories during the 2018-19 campaign, Army West Point posted a record 77 points and finished first in the men's league's presidents' cup race. The Black Knights won league championships in men's cross country, men's indoor track and field, men's golf, men's lacrosse and baseball en route to surpassing Navy's 2015-16 total of 76.5. If there is no Patriot League tournament (football), points are awarded based upon final regular-season standings. If there is no regular-season competition and the champion is determined by a Patriot League Championship (cross country, golf, rowing, swimming and diving, track and field), points are awarded based upon final tournament standings.
