Writing Today AIAD in Washington DCCadet Writing Fellows Ryan Johnson, Sam Redman, Sebastian Houng, and Justin Sells traveled to Washington, DC as part of the “Writing Today” Academic Individual Advanced Development (AIAD), where they met with professional writers in various governmental fields to discuss effective communication strategies. They met with, among others, professionals at the CIA, the Pentagon, the National Security Council, the Department of Justice, the Naval Academy, and NPR, as well as with speechwriters and Congressional liaisons to the military.
