West Point Grads on Both Ends of the USAISEC Coin Presentation

In June, West Point grads were on both sides of the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC) Coin presentation.

COL Ericka Brooks ’00, CDR USAISEC presented coins for outstanding performance to LTC (R) Agustin (‘Gus’) Ortiz ’76 and LTC (R) Anthony Shepard ’95 accompanied by CSM Endesha Johnson at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Serving as the Senior Systems Engineer – Technical, Ortiz was recognized for his role in the preparation and negotiation of Support Agreements for Reimbursable work. Shepard was recognized for his support to the Program Manager, Enterprise Information Networks. Both Ortiz and Shepard served previously in USAISEC while on Active duty and are now DA Civilians.
