After three days of competition, Ana Joyner and Caroline Vincent captured top billing at the Greyhounds Women's Tennis Classic Sunday. The duo began the championship matches with a 6-2 win over Kateri Martin and Abigail Thorton of Loyola in their doubles match. Joyner then took down Martin in singles, 6-2, 6-3. Vincent made it a 3-0 Army victory with a straight sets win over Thorton, 6-3, 6-2.
Also playing on Sunday in the 5th place match, Anna Loureiro and Bridget Mayfield were 2-1 winners over Abby Decker and Sandra Aguirre of Loyola. The Black Knights won the doubles point, followed by a singles victory by Loureiro over Decker. Joyner and Vincent were undefeated in doubles and singles over the tournament, going 3-0 together in doubles. Joyner was 2-0 in singles, while Vincent went 3-0.
