Williamson Wins Lehigh Invitational Title
Firstie Justin Williamson fired a 2-under 70 in the final round on Saturday to become the 2019 Lehigh Invitational individual champion by one stroke. Williamson was tied for fourth after the first day and finished even par for the tournament to win the title by one stroke over Oisin Deveruex of Iona and Austin Deveruex of Rider.
The Black Knights had a team score of 598 (+22) and snuck up two spots on the day with a 295 team score (+7). Holy Cross won the team title with a score of 592 (+16) Williamson's individual victory was the first of his career and the first for the Black Knights since Peter Kim won the 2017 Patriot League Championship. Tom Katsenes wasn't far back from Williamson, as he finished fourth at 2-over for the tournament. Katsenes was also under par on Saturday with a 1-under 71 score and shot 2-under on the back nine to move up the leaderboard. Read more.
