Seven cadets from the Cadet Fly Fishing Club visited the world-famous Salmon River recently. Besides fishing numerous areas, the cadets also visited the Salmon River hatchery, and learned safe wading equipment and techniques for the fast currents. All cadets were able to hook multiple salmon, but they discovered that landing the large fish is much harder. Four cadets had their first experience hooking salmon. The cadets appreciate DCA and supporters of the club for making this experience possible.
