Army West Point Men's Volleyball traveled to Michigan State for the Hardwood Classic. The tournament involved 28 Division I teams and 23 Division II teams from all over the country for competitive play. The team separated into A's and B's, with the A-team competing in Division I, and B-team in Division II. After the first day of pool play both teams earned a spot in the silver brackets. Both teams made it to their respective finals, with the B's winning their bracket with a victory over a Michigan State University squad and the A's falling to the University of Michigan in their silver bracket finals. MAV earned wins over Iowa, Olivet, Western Michigan, and Michigan State among others. The tournament was a great growing experience for all players and allowed some to experience for the first time a longer tournament in preparation for next semester as some tournaments extend for four days.
