For the second consecutive week a member of the Army West Point Women's Basketball team was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week. After registering double-figures in both of the Black Knights' contests, Kamryn Hall earned the distinction. The award comes on the heels of Sabria Hunter earning the same honor last week.
Hall finished with 13 points against St. Francis Brooklyn on Wednesday. She entered the midway point with no points, before pouring in 13 in the second stanza. Hall shot 6-of-10 from the field and knocked down a 3-pointer.
On Saturday against Columbia, the Sacramento, Calif., native totaled 11 points and corralled a game-high 12 rebounds to secure her first career double-double. Hall surpassed her season total of 3-pointers made entering the contest, shooting a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond-the-arc. She also saw 34 minutes of action against Columbia, a new season high.
The Black Knights return to action tonight when it takes on TCU, a semifinalist in last season's WNIT, at 5 p.m.
