After a 3-0 week on the road, the Army West Point Hockey team has received national attention and received 17 votes in the USCHO.com Coaches Poll.
"I am really proud of how our team has been playing lately." Head Coach Brian Riley said. "It's nice to receive national recognition as a result, but we also understand that there is a lot of hockey left to be played this season. We will continue to work on getting better as a team each week."
The Black Knights had an outstanding week with a road victory over American International on Tuesday, 4-1, and then two wins at Canisius on Friday and Saturday.
Army has reached 10 wins this season thanks to a hot stretch in which the team has won six of its last seven matchups. The Cadets are currently tied for first in Atlantic Hockey standings as well with 24 points.
The Black Knights are currently second in the country for its power play with a .932 efficiency. Read more.
