The Army West Point Women's Basketball team produced a sweep of the Patriot League's weekly awards. Alisa Fallon was tabbed the conference's player of the week, while Sabria Hunter was named the rookie of the week, the league announced Monday afternoon in a release.
This marks the third consecutive week that a member of the Black Knights earned the league's top freshman award.
Fallon registered a career-high 22 points in the Black Knights win over Fairleigh Dickinson. In the win she shot 7-of-13 from the field and was a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line. She came up with some clutch free throws down the line, connecting on pair which tied the contest both near the end of regulation and near the conclusion of the first overtime. Against TCU, Fallon registered her first career double-double, finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds. She's now reached double-digit scoring in her last five contests.
Hunter corralled 15 rebounds and 11 points in the win over Fairleigh Dickinson to pick up her third double-double of the season. Of her 15 rebounds, eight came in the first quarter. Against TCU, she was tied for the team lead with 13 points, shooting 50 percent from the field (5-of-10) and was a perfect 3-of-3 from the line.
