After qualifying for the NCAA Championships in 2019, Head Coach Dr. Doug Van Everen and the Army West Point Gymnastics team will enter the 2020 campaign with heightened expectations, being ranked 12th in the College Gymnastics Association Preseason Coaches Poll.
Stanford, the defending National Champions, received the top ranking with 17 first place votes. No. 2 Oklahoma received two votes for the top spot and No. 3 Michigan received a nod as well. Big Ten Conference members Illinois and Nebraska rounded out the top five.

The Black Knights return 17 members from their 2019 squad including yearling Mathew Davis, who advanced to the NCAA Championship finals as an all-around competitor.
The Cadets will roster a six man senior class and welcome seven freshman to the 2020 unit.
Army will begin competition on January 10 with the first round of the 29th annual West Point Open.
