The Cadet Chapter of the Society of Women Engineers visited MoMath, the National Museum of Mathematics, located in New York City. Since it opened in 2012, the museum has remained dedicated to its mission of enhancing the public's understanding and perception of mathematics. The facility is renowned for its ability to inspire a love a math by sharing mathematical principles through innovative logic games and visual displays.
The exhibits are designed to be accessible to everyone from small children to retirees. The trip provided the cadets an opportunity to spend time with other science lovers, learn more about mathematics, and visit New York City. At the conclusion of their trip, the cadets traveled to the top of the Empire State Building to learn about the building's construction and enjoy one of the best views of the city.
