Amateur Radio Takes 1st at FoxhuntThe West Point Amateur Radio Club traveled to Poughkeepsie for a radio direction finding competition called a “foxhunt.” Cadets Easton Bolin, Chase Lewis, Pat Mcgurrin, and Nolan Pearce, led by Dr. Kate Duncan, used radio direction finding skills to locate a transmitter across a 10km-wide area. The club placed first out of seven teams and used homemade antennas made from PVC and tape measures.
