John Boulé II, a senior vice president at Dewberry, has been named president of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) New York City Post. Boulé manages Dewberry’s New York City office and has more than 30 years of experience in the engineering industry, specializing in resilience, risk mitigation, water resources, environmental restoration, infrastructure and facility services.
From 2009 to 2012, Boulé was commander of the New York District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). In this role, he was responsible for the USACE’s water resource development, and regulatory activities in much of New York State and New Jersey, as well as Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Boulé also served as district engineer responsible for the design and construction of facilities and infrastructure at Army and Air Force installations in New Jersey, New York, and Greenland.
"I’m honored to serve in this new leadership role within SAME," says Boulé. "I’m looking forward to continuing to contribute to greater community connectivity by being involved with other members in solving some of the nation’s most challenging infrastructure projects and initiatives."
