Can Cadets Make Steel Even Stronger?Yes! To start of the new year right, cadets in "Design of Steel" Structures did hands-on heat treatment of metals. After learning about the solid-state chemistry involved, cadets went to the furnace and practiced what they learned, heating, cooling then busting the steel samples.
