Cadets Learn About the Bureaucratic ProcessAmerican Politics cadets learned about the bureaucratic process by doing an in-class activity to bring the principal-agent problem to life. Two groups were split into Congress and a fictional agency responsible for drawing shapes. With only written instructions from their classmates, the cadets competed to be closest to matching the assigned shape. They quickly learned that translating intent to action can be extremely challenging.
