Army Women's Basketball trailed by three points entering halftime, but outscored Loyola 54-31 in the second half to earn a 75-55 victory over the Greyhounds on Wednesday night in Christl Arena.
The Black Knights shot just 8-for-23 (34.8 percent) in the first half, but were lights out in the second, shooting 19-for-37 (51.4 percent) from the floor. Army additionally got 29 points from its bench.
Alisa Fallon and Hope Brown each led the team with 16 points apiece, while Fallon added 12 rebounds to give her a double-double. Natalie Stralkus chipped in 15 points and was 5-for-8 from 3-point range.
Army made 13 3-pointers, marking its fifth game with double-digit makes from three this season. Overall seven different Cadets connected from 3-point range. The 20-point win for the Black Knights is their largest margin of victory over an opponent this season. The previous high was a 13-point win over Holy Cross on January 15. Read more.
