The Patriot League has announced the Army West Point at Colgate Men's Basketball game, scheduled for Saturday, February 29, has been selected to air on CBS Sports Network as part of the league's television package. The opening tip between the Black Knights and Raiders is scheduled for noon ET at Colgate's Cotterell Court in Hamilton, N.Y. Joel Godett and Mo Cassara will handle the call for the CBS Sports Network broadcast. It will mark the fourth game during the Patriot League season for the Black Knights that will be aired on CBS Sports Network.
The Raiders (21-7, 12-3 PL) sit in first place having won 20 games for the second straight season and second time in program history with defending Patriot League Player of the Year Rapolas Ivanauskas and 2019 Patriot League Tournament MVP Jordan Burns. The Black Knights (13-13, 8-7 PL) are battling for a first-round bye and a home game in the quarterfinal round of the Patriot League Tournament. Firstie guard Tommy Funk, the league's career assists leader, is among the NCAA DI leaders in assists (6.8 apg) while ranking among the league's leading scorers (19.1 ppg) through 15 League games. Colgate defeated Army at Christl Arena, 70-65, on January 6.
The meeting between Army and Colgate marks the final day of the Patriot League regular season schedule and could have an impact on league tournament seeding. Each of the League's 10 programs will play its final regular season game on Saturday, February 29. Read more.
