Despite trailing by one at the half, the Army West Point Women's Lacrosse team bounced back and outscored Siena, 11-4, in the second stanza en route to securing a 16-10 victory at Michie Stadium on Saturday.
Gaining possession on the draw was key for the Black Knights (6-0) in the second half as they won 13 of the 14 draws opposite the Saints (2-2). Juliana Dworschak and Samantha Stewart were dominant, combining for 20 draws after posting 10 apiece. Stewart got it done on the offensive end as well, scoring a game-high five goals on eight shots.
Caroline Raymond and Julia Franzoni pitched in offensively with hat tricks after they each scored three goals in the win. Kathleen Sullivan capped her evening with a four-point outing on two goals and two assists.
