Natalie Stralkus of the Army West Point Women's Basketball team was named the Army West Point Athletic Association Athlete of the Week.
Last week, Stralkus averaged 14.5 points and was 9-of-18 from beyond-the-arc. Her top performance came in the win over Colgate on Saturday when she hit seven 3-pointers to register a career-high 21 points in just 22 minutes of play. Stralkus additionally corralled a career-high 10 rebounds to mark her first career double-double.
She was the first player to hit seven 3-balls in a contest since Kelsey Minato did so against Boston U. on March 2, 2020. The yearling was one shy of tying Minato's program record of eight made 3-pointers which she did on three separate occasions. Read more.
