2LT Losch & Dr. Nagelli C&LS ProjectSecond Lieutenant Anchor Losch and Dr. Enoch Nagelli in the Multi-Functional Materials Laboratory in the Department of Chemistry and Life Science at West Point are filming a video for the Journal of Visualized Experiments to share their synthesis method to make salt-templated macrotubes and macrobeams with a square cross-section for use as fuel cell electrodes. This project seeks to develop lightweight materials for power and energy applications. The video accompanies their method paper, “A Salt-Templated Synthesis Method for Porous Platinum-based Macrobeams and Macrotubes.”
