Four Cadets Named CEP Scholar-Athletes for October
Marshall Beatty and Mika Andrews of Army West Point Men's and Women's Cross Country and Luke Haug and Eleanor Burnett of Men's and Women's Rugby have been selected as the Corps Squad Athletes of the Month for October.
Women's Cross Country - Mika Andrews '21 International History Major with an Academic GPA last term of 3.868. She wears both the star (3.67+ academic GPA for 2+ consecutive semesters) and the wreath (top 15% of her graduating class) on her uniform. Cumulative GPA is 3.759, reflecting excellence in all of the pillars.
Men's Cross Country - Marshall Beatty '22 Philosophy major with a 3.604 cumulative GPA, with a 3.94 Academic semester GPA in spring 2020. Has taken on two extra semesters to study Russian solely because he enjoys learning the language and studying the culture. Top Army finisher and 3rd place overall at the Battle in Beantown 2020.
Men's Rugby - Luke Haug '21 Luke maintains a 3.234 cumulative GPA as a Business Management major. He has made the Dean's List every semester he has been at the Academy. He is aiming to branch Infantry following graduation.
Women's Rugby - Eleanor Burnett '21 Eleanor Burnett is a Firstie majoring in Geospatial Information Science. She currently maintains a 3.07 cumulative GPA and has made the Dean's List 3 times here at the Academy; including the last two (fall 2019 and spring 2020).
