Major Muirhead Using WWII Weapons for ClassIn his HI 151: The Army of the Republic, Leading Citizen Soldiers classes, MAJ Eric Muirhead used WWII weapons from the West Point Museum and a few sandbags to transport his sections back to Italy’s Gothic Line in April of 1945. Using the Nisei 442nd Regimental Combat Team and the Late Senator Daniel Inouye’s Medal of Honor Citation, his cadets discussed what it means to be a citizen soldier where your country has wrongly taken your citizenship.
