Army Men's Basketball defeated Boston University, 79-59, this past weekend at Case Gymnasium to take the first of back-to-back Patriot League contests between the two squads.
With the win, the Black Knights improved to 7-3 overall and 3-2 in Patriot League play.
The Black Knights jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first half and never looked back, as they did not trail at all during the road contest.
Alex King, Josh Caldwell and Lonnie Grayson led the Black Knights, each scoring in double figures on the day. King led the way with 20 points, one shy of his season high. All of Grayson's 10 points came in the second half, while Caldwell finished with 15. Aaron Duhart led the way with six boards and had a team-high five assists.
The Black Knights shot 53.3 percent from the field on the day, while holding the Terriers to just 37.7 percent shooting from the field. BU had cold streaks in each half, going 8:49 in the first half without a made field goal and 8:05 without a bucket in the second half. Read more.
