Three From Women’s Lacrosse Earn First Team All-League HonorsThe Army West Point Women’s Lacrosse Team had three members named to the Patriot League First Team, the league office announced May 3. Firstie attacker Jackie Brattan, cow attacker Caroline Raymond and firstie defender Lauren Bredenburg were all tabbed first team all-league performers.

Army's all-time leader in goals (127) and points (139), Brattan led the team this season with 26 goals over the course of eight games. The Garden City, N.Y., native had five hat tricks. Her top performance came against Lafayette on April 10, when she tied a single-game program record with nine points on eight goals and an assist.

Raymond was second on the team in goals with 21 and third in points with 25. She registered five hat tricks on the season. The Mahopac, N.Y., product was fourth in the league in draw controls per game with an average of 6.50. Raymond's top performance also came in the Lafayette game when she registered a single-game program record with 13 draw controls and tallied five points.

Bredenburg anchored Army's defensive unit which limited opponents to 10.5 goals per game. Over the course of its five-game win streak, Army has limited its opponents to an average of 8.8 goals per game. She was tied for third in the league in caused turnovers with 11. The Hampstead, Md., native led the team with 18 groundballs on the season and ranks third in program history with 92 throughout her career.
