Nichtern Earns Fourth Patriot League Weekly AwardCow attackman Brendan Nichtern was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season after tallying eight points against Colgate on April 30.

Nichtern tied a career-high with eight points on a hat trick and five assists in the win over Colgate. The five assists he recorded was a career high. Four of his eight points came in the fourth quarter, including the final goal of the game which came with 21 seconds left to give Army a two-goal lead.

Nichtern leads the Patriot League in points per game at 5.10 and assists per game at 2.80. He has 51 points on the year to lead the conference in total points and first in assists with 28.

The Black Knights earned a bye into the Patriot League Semifinals in the upcoming league tournament and will face the winner of the quarterfinal matchup between Loyola and Navy. The semifinal game is set for Friday evening May 7, with a time to be announced.
