CDT San Martin Receives Undergraduate Research Scholarship
Congratulations to CDT Emma San Martin! The Engineering Honor Society Tau Beta Pi awarded Emma with an undergraduate research scholarship grant for exhibiting the potential for making substantial contributions to the engineering profession. Emma is tremendously thankful for the award and plans to use the scholarship to fund travel and literature expenses related to her current biomechanics independent study.
Emma was also awarded a 2021 American Society of Biomechanics Diversity Travel Grant. At the ASB’s 45th meeting this year, Emma will present her independent study, “Effect of tolerance Value on Sample Entropy for Postural Control in Military Populations,” which ASB recently accepted for publication. As part of the award, Emma most looks forward to receiving a mentor through their matching program.
