CDT Udler AIAD with Special Operations
This summer, through the West Point Combating Terrorism Center, Cadet Amir Udler worked with Special Operations at Fort Bragg, NC to analyze the evolving threats that the community will be facing in the upcoming years.
During his Advanced Individual Academic Development (AIAD), he engaged directly with DOD servicemembers and civilians alike to better understand the deliberate process of collaboration for the Special Operations enterprise when creating long-term policies and plans—ones that are nested within broader departmental and national security guidance.
In addition to his exposure to current projects, he was able to research ongoing strategic competition in the cyber domain and its implications, specifically in the developing Latin American region.
Cadets, Staff, and Faculty worked tirelessly this year to set up over 396 summer immersion experiences despite COVID limitations.
Well done, CDT Udler and the CTC! Find out more about the CTC.
