Women’s Cross Country Opens Campaign with Win Over MaineThe Army West Point Women’s Cross Country Team opened its season with a victory over the Maine Black Bears. The Black Knights had the meet's top-four runners, including two yearlings and a plebe. Georgia Jones, who was an all-league performer as a plebe, finished the race first with a time of 17:55.02. Yearling Helen Shearer was close behind placing second (17:59.85). Plebe Abigail McIlvain finished her first collegiate meet in third (19:02.79), and cow Arielle Zlotnick placed fourth (19:06.27).
