Football Set for Road Game at Ball State
For the first time since week one, the Army West Point Football Team will hit the road as the Black Knights are slated to take on Ball State on Saturday, October 2. The game against the Cardinals is set for a 5pm start in Muncie, Ind. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
The action between the Black Knights (4-0) and the Cardinals (1-3) can additionally be found across 25 radio stations in nine different states via the Army Sports Network. Additionally, the call can be heard for free via the Varsity Network app and through the in-venue feed for fans in attendance.
The Cadets are coming off a three-game home stand that saw the team extend its winning streak at Michie Stadium to 13 games. The streak dates back to the 2019 season, as Army went 8-0 on Blaik Field last year. Army is 4-0 for the first time since 1996. That season's squad posted a dominant 9-0 mark. The matchup against the Cardinals will begin a two-game road swing for the Cadets, who are set to face off against Wisconsin (October 16) after their bye week. The Black Knights will look to continue their streak of scoring in the first quarter, having earned an overall advantage of 35-0 in the opening 15 minutes of this season's contests. Read more.
