West Point Aeronautical to Receive New Cessna’s
The first of two new aircraft that the department will receive just rolled out of the paint booth at the factory. This aircraft should be completely done in just several weeks. The department will receive two new Cessna-206 aircraft to replace the Cessna-182 aircraft that have served the academic flight program since 1989. These aircraft support flight laboratory experiences in the department's Aeronautical Engineering technical electives. Did you know that the department has flown flight laboratories since 1970 and that the Academy has offered instruction in Aeronautical topics since 1921?
