Bulatao ’86 Named CAO at Activision BlizzardBrian Bulatao ’86 has been named Chief Administrative Officer at Activision Blizzard. Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick said that “Brian is a rare talent, and the perfect fit for Activision Blizzard; his unparalleled combination of business, military, and government experience makes him ideally suited to accelerate our organizational transformation and deliver on great opportunities for future growth.” Brian will oversee the Call of Duty Endowment as well as key administrative functions including the Corporate Social Responsibility activities across Activision Blizzard, HR and talent acquisition, IT, Workplace, Information and Physical Security.

Most recently, Brian served as Under Secretary of State for Management at the U.S. Department of State, spearheading the historic repatriation effort to bring home more than 100,000 citizens traveling or living abroad in more than 130 countries as the COVID-19 pandemic swept the globe. He had responsibility for the Joint Strategic Plan, global talent management, diplomatic security, consular affairs and leading the State Department’s contingency and crisis response efforts. Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer of the Central Intelligence Agency. He was awarded the Distinguished Intelligence Medal and the Director’s Award in recognition of his significant contributions to national security.
