CDT Suppiah Named Patriot League Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year

CDT Suppiah Named Patriot League Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the YearArmy West Point Men’s Soccer Firstie Captain, Jacob Suppiah, has been named the Patriot League Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Suppiah is the eighth Cadet in program history to earn the academic distinction. Teammate, Luke Doyle, joined Suppiah on the Patriot League All-Academic Team. Suppiah emerged as the team’s primary goalkeeper for the 2021 season after a breakout season as a cow. The Memphis, TN native has started 13 games in net for the Cadets this year, leading the team to 6 wins and a tie while between the posts. His four shutouts place him fourth in the league, while GAA of 1.35 is good for fifth in the conference. He also ranks in the top 10 in saves (44 - 8th) and save percentage (.710 - 7th). Read more.
