Football Report Following Yesterday’s PracticeHead football coach Jeff Monken spoke following practice heading into a tough road test at Liberty November 27 at 12pm. Quarterback Tyhier Tyler ’23 and linebacker Leo Lowin ’24 spoke about their focus during another game week. The Black Knights are heading to Lynchburg, VA, for a matchup with the Flames, the game will be live on ESPN+ and across the Army Sports Network.

CPT Rudo’s history class was honored to have Ms. Pat Locke speak about her experiences being the first Black female cadet to graduate from West Point. Professor Holly Mayer and CPT Jessica Rudo also treated their cadets to Women Army Corps uniforms and the first female USMA cadet uniforms (both actual and developmental sketches), focusing on the integration and recruitment of women into the Army.

CDT Martin ’22 Defeats Armenian National Champion

CDT Grace Martin ’22, West Point Boxing Team member currently studying Persian abroad in Armenia, defeated the 2021 Armenian National Champion, Julieta Margaryan, at the Gegharkunik Regional Championship hosted by Sevan Boxing Club in Sevan, Armenia. CDT Martin’s victory came by points in the 57kg weight class and qualified her for the Armenian National Championship/European Championship Selection
