Cadets Nichtern & Schupler Garner Patriot League Weekly AwardsComing off its season-opening win, No. 10 Army West Point Men’s Lacrosse had two Black Knights earn Patriot League Weekly Honors. CDT Brendan Nichtern ’22 was named offensive player of the week and CDT Wyatt Schupler ’22 was selected as goalkeeper of the week. The reigning Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year and this year's preseason offensive player of the year had a dominating performance en route to his fifth career offensive player of the week award. Cadets of the Astronomy/BalloonSat Club had a successful launch from Minersville, PA. This was the first time the club had used hydrogen to fill the balloon (instead of helium) and the payload consisted of several different cadet experiments. The Director of the U.S. Army Medical Education Directorate at the Office of the Surgeon General has approved MAJ Michael Donohue, M.D. ’05 to be the next Director of the John A. Feagin, Jr. Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program at Keller Army Community Hospital at West Point. Donohue is the 41st graduate of the fellowship program, which started in 1988, and will be its seventh director. R
